About Fresh Ducts

A duct company that tells you when you do not need us

We are an Ogden-based team working across the Wasatch Front. We inspect before we quote, we show you what we find, and we say so when a system is fine as it is.

The short answer

What Fresh Ducts does

We clean air ducts, clear dryer vents, inspect duct systems and restore runs that have deteriorated, for homes and commercial properties across the Wasatch Front. We work out of Ogden and travel to the property, carrying truck-mounted collection equipment so most of the mess and noise stays outside.

Every visit starts with an inspection, because the right service depends on what is actually in the system rather than on what was assumed over the phone.

How we work

Inspect first, quote second, and never the other way round

A price quoted before anyone has looked inside is either padded to cover the worst case or destined to grow once the crew arrives. We would rather spend twenty minutes with a camera and give you a number that holds.

  • A camera in the accessible ductwork before any quote
  • A written scope and price before equipment comes inside
  • Floor protection down, collection unit outside where possible
  • A walkthrough at the end showing what came out

Straight about limits

What we will and will not tell you

Included

  • What is actually in your duct system, shown on camera
  • Whether cleaning will address it, and what it will cost
  • When a symptom points at equipment, leakage or moisture instead
  • When the honest answer is that your system does not need work
  • Which trade to call when the job is not ours

Not included

  • That duct cleaning will improve anyone's health or allergies
  • That it will lower your energy bills by any particular amount
  • A diagnosis of mould, which we are not qualified to give
  • A price over the phone before anyone has seen the system
  • Sanitising, fogging or chemical treatment of any kind

Somewhere on the Wasatch Front?

Find out what your system actually needs.

The inspection is free and carries no obligation to book work.

Why we work this way

Duct cleaning has a reputation problem, and it is largely deserved. The industry is full of very low advertised prices that expand once someone is in your basement, of companies that diagnose mould from a glance, and of chemical treatments sold as standard that address nothing.

The inspection is the product

What a customer actually needs is to know what is in their system and whether it warrants the work. That is why the inspection comes free and without obligation, and why a meaningful share of them end with us saying nothing needs doing. A visit that ends that way costs us a morning and tends to be why people call us back years later.

What we are careful not to claim

Duct cleaning removes material that has accumulated in the accessible parts of a duct system. That is real, measurable, and worth doing when there is something to remove. Whether it improves health outcomes is genuinely unsettled, and we would rather say so than sell on a promise we cannot stand behind.
